Another thing you'll see is a much greater emphasis on value-added services. Take messaging. It's typically fixed at $20 per month. But companies such as FunMail offer operators a service for subscribers that enables the subscribers to compose text messages with graphics. This service costs a little more, which allows the operator to make a little more. This then enables the operator to build more capacity, which simultaneously gives users more service.

FunMail Takes The Work Out Of Picture Messaging
Everyone loves picture messaging ? or at least, they love the idea of it. The iPhone carrying masses clamored for it, then celebrated once they got it by sending everyone pictures of their immediate surroundings and beloved pets before forgetting the feature exists. After the novelty wears off, it?s generally reserved for the occasions when there is genuinely something interesting to show. Need the wife?s advice on whether to buy the blue shirt or the green one? FunMail for iPhone ? MMS with a twist
Quick, raise your hand if you sent an MMS from your iPhone this past week. Okay, how about this past month? If you?re not raising your hand, your either A) not following the rules of this game or B) just like the millions of Americans that just don?t send out MMS (picture messages) regularly from their iPhones. FunMail: Talk Through Photos
Ah, Multimedia Messaging...so many uses, yet so rarely used. Taking a picture with your camera and sending it with a message is too much of a hassle to do with every message. That's why MMSing never really caught on the way SMSing did. FunMobility, a mobile content provider from Pleasanton, CA, thinks that's a shame. They've created the FunMail app as a way to encourage more MMSing by making it easier to send pictures in your message.
