| Pleasanton, CA - September 22, 2006 - FunMobility a leader in premium wireless entertainment, announced today Flirt Pix™, the first cross-carrier photo flirting application that allows users to anonymously and safely exchange visual messages. Flirt Pix, which leverages the successful cross-carrier photo technology of America's Best Mobile Pix!, will attract young adults with a fun and safe way to flirt with other mobile users. Flirt Pix is part of FunMobility's mobile segmentation strategy to provide carriers with more targeted services and drive new revenues. "Generation wireless uses their mobile phones constantly as part of their mobile lifestyle," said Adam Lavine, FunMobility CEO, "Flirting is a daily activity with the young demographic which we can monetize with this great new application. Flirt Pix gives users a platform to meet and flirt with new people, while still providing the safety and security that comes with mobile applications." Flirt Pix lets users make a visual connection with other users – even those who may be using a different carrier. Users can create personal profiles where they can list their hobbies, likes and dislikes, favorite bands or movies, or whatever they want to share with other users. They can submit their pictures to one or more categories listed on the application, and browse and respond to images posted by others. There are a host of categories to choose from – from location-themed (vacation or romantic get-away categories) to profile-themed (biking, skiing, women with glasses, short men, etc.), with new categories added regularly. Responses can be sent via a message on the picture, or users can rate the image with from one to five "winks." As with America's Best Mobile Pix!, a high level of user security is built in. Users can ignore or block other users at any time, and FunMobility's carrier-grade filtering technology and manual reviews processes remove inappropriate language, images, and contact information. Because each user has a unique ID, all users easily identified if necessary and can be denied access if necessary. Said Lavine, "Flirt Pix is a great example of how FunMobility continues to develop fun, consumer-friendly mobile technology to meet consumers' evolving needs." Flirt Pix will be available on nationwide carriers in the first quarter of 2007. |
