FunMobility's management team includes senior executives with extensive experience in wireless technology development, carrier services, animation, special effects rendering technology and multi-channel direct to consumer sales and marketing.

Adam Lavine Adam Lavine – Founder and CEO
Adam Lavine has deep experience in technology, animation and the wireless industry. Prior to founding FunMail (now FunMobility), in 1999, Adam was founder and CEO of Specular International, a 3D graphics and animation software company whose customers included Disney, ABC Television and Industrial Light and Magic. Specular was sold to MetaTools, a publicly traded company in 1997, where Adam worked on streaming 3D technologies before leaving to found FunMail. Before Specular, Adam was an Animation Instructor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he produced and directed animations for the National Science Foundation. Adam graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, where he holds degrees in English and Educational Computer Animation.

Dennis Chen Dennis Chen – Founder and CTO
Dennis is responsible for the overall technical direction at FunMobility, and focuses on both advancing FunMobility's core technology and on developing new applications. Prior to founding FunMobility, he was the founder and Chief Scientist of Specular International. At Specular, he assembled and lead an elite engineering team that designed and developed many award winning 2D and 3D professional graphics software such as Infini-D, Collage, Logomotion and Backburner. Dennis holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Arvind Narain

Arvind Narain – President and COO
Arvind brings 20+ years of public company and growth-stage leadership experience to FunMobility. He was most recently Senior Vice President at McAfee (NYSE: MFE) where he spearheaded their corporate growth initiatives around mobile security, "security as a service" (SaaS) and carrier/service provider distribution channels. As co-founder and operational leader of Network Associates (NAI) subsidiary myCIO, he conceived and created the world's first business-to-business security application service provider (ASP). As Senior Vice President of Product Planning and Field Operations, he led the global 500+ team responsible for revenue execution, product management, strategy, and consulting for the $600M enterprise portfolio. Prior to McAfee, he held executive, marketing, and technical positions at Discussions, Sybase and Cincom. Arvind holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Madras, India and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University.

Andy Baldocchi

Andy Baldocchi – Senior Vice President, Sales
Andy has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications industry in both the wireless and wireline space. He is responsible for FunMobility's Sales and Business Development efforts. Prior to FunMobility, he was the Director of Sales for ICG Communication's Commercial Business Segment where he managed 7 western sales offices - 55 direct reports. Under his leadership, his business unit became ICG's most profitable sales region. In addition to his wireline experience, he spent 8 years working for Nokia Mobile Phones as a Sales Director calling on the North American Carriers. He successfully negotiated buying contracts with Verizon, US West, Alltel, Western Wireless, Comcast, Bell Atlantic, AT&T, Vanguard and SBC. Andy holds a Master's Degree from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA.

Ken Nowak

Ken Nowak – Vice President, Content and Operations
Ken has 15+ years of mobile media, content, and telecom experience. Previously, Ken was GM for InfoSpace's Los Angeles Mobile Studio managing $13M in monthly revenues. Ken was an Associate Partner with 15 years experience at Accenture/Andersen Consulting in their wireless communications practice and has worked with many mobile carriers in the US and abroad. Ken has deep Telecom and Mobile skills with a BS from the University of Illinois (Computer Engineering) and a Masters from the University of Colorado (Telecommunications)

Andy Baldocchi

Kai Yung – Vice President, Engineering
Kai is in charge of the engineering team at FunMobility. Initially, as lead architect, Kai created key technology and infrastructure that expanded the product portfolio at FunMobility. Previously, he was in the BioTechnology space at Applied Biosystems, in charge of the group that created the massively parallel data acquisition and analysis system that collected the core data for the Human Genome Project. He holds a patent for this system and collaborated with the world's leading laboratories to help integrate it. Kai received his Ph.D from University of California at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the computation study of quantum solid state lasers, and earned his Bachelor degree at Williams College in Physics and Computer Science as a Tyng Schola

Hudson George – Vice President, Products
Hudson is responsible for FunMobility's product strategy, planning and product management, brand design, and application prototyping. Hudson holds a B.A in Art from Humboldt State University.

Mark Thompson – Vice President, Finance
Mark brings over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in the high-tech industry, with primary focus in the software sector. Mark has extensive hands-on financial and managerial experience which includes over 12 years in a Corporate Controller capacity. He has been instrumental in a variety of public and private offerings of both debt and equity, in addition to numerous value-added mergers and acquisitions. Mark leads the accounting, finance and human resources team for FunMobility. Prior to joining FunMobility Mark served as a Corporate Controller at various public and private companies, including FirstRain, Latitude Communications and Quintus Corporation. Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Jose State University.
